10-Day Hezbollah Israel War

Author: Lance Winslow

The heat is on Israel to halt its bombing of Hezbollah strongholds in Lebanon. In fact, Hezbolla leaders are attempting to apologize for the first time for killing innocent children. It appears that the United Nations would like to see a cease-fire in the Hezbolla-Israel war. Can Israel afford to have a cease-fire right now, before they get all of their 3000 targets?

Hezbollah appears to have radar guided missiles that hit a ship off the coast of Lebanon. In fact Hezbollah, hit two ships, one was a Cambodian merchant vessel, and another one was an Israeli navy ship. Where did Hezbollah get radar guided missiles? Perhaps they were Chinese made, as the Chinese have been selling missiles to Iran and Iran is supplying Hezbollah with these modern missiles.

Israel must cut off the supply chain before it considers a cease-fire, because that will allow Hezbolla to regroup and get more weapons to kill more people. Many were hoping for a 10 day war, but that may not be in the best interest of Israel or the United States for that matter. In fact, it might be better if Hezbollah is completely defeated in Lebanon.

Either way, the Hezbollah-Israeli war will last more than 10 days and Israel has no choice but to go after Syria and or Iran next. Otherwise, these modern weapons will continue to be shot at Israel. Should Israel listen to the United Nations and have a cease-fire or should they continue until they are completed with their targets?

Why is it that all of a sudden the Hezbollah is apologizing for killing innocent victims. When that is all international terrorist groups ever do anyway? Since when does an international terrorist group care if it kills innocent children? It is obvious that Hezbollah is running out of options and looking for the United Nations to help them. Should the United Nations force Israel to negotiate with international terrorists? If you were Israel, would you? Consider this in 2006.
