According to the group of award-givers, they chose the Mercedes Benz S-Class as the recipient of the award because they found the best type of space and comfort among all other vehicles. They also did research so as to back up their decisions.

Best Luxury Car is another award that the Mercedes Benz S-Class received. This one was given out by the UK magazine 'What Car'?. In the words of the magazine's editor, David Motton, 'When Mercedes Benz launches a new S-Class, the rest of the world gasps in amazement.'
